- Name: Charlie Gray
- Nicknames: Charles, “Harlie-Charlie”(childhood best friend called her this)
- Blood: Pure-Blood
- Date of Birth: March 13, 2077
- Place of Birth: Billingham, England
- Occupation: Student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Charlie is of fairly small stature, which might be what makes her sort of invisible sometimes. Though it’s not inaccurate to say that she does it to herself sometimes. She has fairly long chocolate brown hair, loose curls flowing through it. Her skin is fair, she’s a pretty little thing, though she seems unaware of that fact. Her eyes are a strange and striking golden color, a unique physical trait, though it caused some of her not so magically-inclined peers to make fun of her, making her an outcast at a young age. Her body is slender, though not unhealthily so. She looks sort of fragile, but looks can be deceiving.
- Height: 5’3”
- Weight: 110 lbs
- Distinguishing Features: Full lips and a pair of beautiful and unsettling gold colored eyes.
Charlie has always been a fairly quiet girl, ever since she was a little girl. She spoke her first words very early on, a decent amount of time before most children are expected to speak. She never had many friends as a child. A few close ones, but no more than that. She was also often noticed speaking to herself, or at least to someone who nobody else could see. An imaginary friend till she had until the age of eight. A bit old for imaginary friends, you might think. Well, Charlie just isn’t the normal kind of girl. She’s very, very smart. She loves to read anything and everything, a little bit of a bookworm. Or a lot of bit. She’s not the best at social situations, despite her high intelligence, or perhaps because of it. She can be fairly awkward around other people, and gets nervous pretty easily. She has anxiety attacks if she isn’t careful, though it’s something she’s working on through use of meditation. Because of her trouble with social situations, she often misreads or is completely oblivious to some of the things that happen in them. Though she manages to always notice the tiniest pieces of body language, she has a very hard time interpreting them. She also has a tendency to burst out with random and seemingly out of place comments, more often than not, they aren’t just seemingly out of place. But, while Charlie has her extremely introverted quiet side, she also can have some strange mood swings that have her in almost maniacally playful or rambunctious moods. So, she smart. She’s pretty, she’s unpredictable, and she’s very strange. The secret is, that imaginary friend of hers still seems to pop up sometimes… Weird, huh?

Though it’s not a fact that many people are privy to, Charlie has a beautiful singing voice. Her pitch is almost always perfect, and her range is quite impressive. When she sings, she feels truly free. Everything bad melts away, and she is content. Those who have the opportunity to hear her sing are very lucky. She also is a fairly skilled gymnast, and enjoys sketching.
As well as being a very smart girl, Charlie is also a very talented witch. Her particular skills lay in Potions and Transfiguration, though she can do well in anything she puts her mind to.
Charlie is not the best flyer, though if she stays calm she can stay on the broom. She is looking into signing up for a flying class.
- Wand: Weeping Willow, Naga Scale, 9 Inches
- Broom: Starfire Zeta
- Pets: Female long haired Tortoiseshell patterned cat named Taryn
- Other Belongings: Many many books, various other belongings that there is no reason to list here. Her sketchbook and art tools, as well as a silver tear-drop shaped locket given to her by her father before he died.
Charlie comes from a very wealthy, but not influential family. Like Charlie, her parents mostly keep to themselves and there circle of friends. Their pure bloodline has little effect on their views and beliefs. Charlie has a younger brother who will enter Hogwarts in Charlie’s sixth year. They have a volatile relationship, though it is clear at certain moments that they truly do love each other. Charlie’s father died when she was eleven, not long after she started at Hogwarts. She was lucky enough to be able to see him over the holiday break before he died, which is when he gave her the locket that she never takes off. Her life has been a quiet one. Though she became a little more comfortable with herself after a couple years at Hogwarts, she’s still socially awkward.
