Athletic, years of preparation for his post as an Auror have given him a decent shape. His face has sharp, powerful features that shave a few years from his actual age. His hair is black, usually combed decently when he feels like he has the time to tend to it, and his eyes are a dull, dark blue, often holding a vague expression to them. He walks with a light limp in his right leg and makes use of a cane, although it isn't exactly necessary. Personality

The only thing Audric wants to do now, is to live. He has a habit of asking rhetorical questions and random philosophical phrases, some made from his own words, others pulled out of a book. This is a stark contrast to his demeanor a few years ago: Text book, and described by some to be "almost militaristic". He tries not to look too heavily into things, but has shown when he does, he can have an almost abnormal sense of focus and dedication to whatever cause he's following. Extremely loyal and determined, he's a man most would appreciate having as an ally.

Notable Skills

Audric is good with his hands, and has shown a knack for being able to work and put together broken muggle devices, and in some cases, even make them work better than before. This is shown even more so with his interest in mechanical engineering. He is also a self described "handy man", being useful with random things needed to be fixed that aren't so complex, one of the reasons why he was accepted for the position of Groundskeeper. Less professional but more "interesting" to some are his sleight of hand tricks, which are performed without magic. He's also shown to be a fast leaner, and prefers to learn with "hands on" examples. Through his training as an Auror, he has become a skilled interrogator, and has taken it upon himself to become moderately versed in self defense without a wand or other arms.

Magical Information

Audric always had an innate skill and natural talent for dueling, being known for being able to think on his feet and proving to be "flexible" in response to different scenarios. His interest in the Defense Against the Dark Arts lead him to decide to become an Auror, being his favorite subject and where most of his talents lay. He has also developed something of a reputation in the Auror Office for his skills with Charms, although he still claims to be a better duelist. His most noteworthy skills however, are his understandings and exploitations of Occlumency and Legilimency, the sources of his profound skills with interrogation, secretly taught to him by his Defense Against the Dark Arts trainer during his sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts. On a less worthy note, he is a pretty good flyer, although he never saw himself fit enough to join the Quidditch team during his stay at Hogwarts.

  • Other Belongings: Nothing worth mentioning.

Brief History

There is nothing really worth any significance regarding the years leading up to Audric's time as an Auror. Coming from parents who were middle class members of society, he had a decent life at home, and an even more enjoyable one after his acceptance into Hogwarts. A gifted thinker like his mother and a bold individual like his father, there was a bet going on between the two on which house he would ultimately be sorted in: His mother's house, Ravenclaw, or his father's house, Gryffindor. His mother won the bet, and Audric was placed into Ravenclaw house.

Just like most members of Ravenclaw, he performed exceedingly well in his studies, but found his interest being in the Defense Against the Dark Arts following his second year at Hogwarts. His creative thinking and ambition landed him as one of the favorites of the then teacher of the class, something that would benefit his future career as an Auror.

Come his sixth year during Hogwarts, Audric started to receive special tutoring by his DADA professor once it was established that Audric was sure that he wanted to become an Auror, despite the struggle that it'd take to get pass the three year training period. During his sixth and seventh years, he was taught the basics of Occlumency and Legilimency, something that set him apart from the rest of his peers during Auror training once he graduated from Hogwarts.

The three year training period was described by Audric to be one of the most tasking and demanding moments of his life, both physically and mentally. He embraced the rules and regulations that the Auror Office taught him without question, and eventually, he was given an official post at the Auror Office, receiving much praise from friends and family alike.

He took assignments and orders without question, eventually earning a name for himself amongst his peers, known for taking risky assignments despite his age and experience. Being put in the Hospital more than one time due to injuries, but he was always anxious to continue his duties. But, that was put to an end when he hit thirty one.

Assigned to a team to investigate activity in the country side, Audric's group was ambushed, thanks to a bad call on the field on his fault. While they managed to defeat their aggressors, the two other members of Audric's group were critically wounded, and eventually died on the way to medical attention. It also left Audric with a limp in his right leg, something that he refused to have healed by magic as a "reminder" to himself to think before he takes action.

Too impacted by the failure, Audric resigned from his post a few months later, feeling that he no longer deserved to call himself an Auror, and finding it difficult to work with a team when the situation called for it. Going quiet and separating himself from the magical world for a period of time, he was eventually approached by the Headmaster of Hogwarts to take a position at the school, although Audric refused to teach — he was given the position of Groundskeeper by request.
